Home Of The Anti-Guru

Have you ever tried to make money online? Bought the latest over-hyped system or ebook, promising instant riches? Didn't work, did they? There's a reason for that (well, there's quite a few, actually!): Take a moment to think logically about the products that are claimed to make this amount, and more importantly, think how you heard about them. I bet you find the answers are that the products claim to make money by selling to your "list", and I bet you heard about them from a newsletter you have subscribed to.

The fact is, most information products developed by the "Gurus" are of no use to the average novice marketer. I won't say they're totally useless, but they tend to demand a degree of knowledge the beginner simply doesn't have. While the information may be sound, the implementation is left to you, If, like me, you're starting from a limited knowledge base, you'll soon get frustrated and move onto something else - another hyped product, another $37, another waste of time. Thing is, these guys have been around for years, have huge mailing lists, and are happy to recommend each other as "gurus" so that their reputation remains sound. They are very clever people, and superb salesmen. They're also very secure in their position, because, in their field, no-one can get near their level of market penetration. Like a snowball, their downline just gets bigger and bigger. You, me, and all the other newbies will buy their courses and systems because they work (and they DO!), but without experience, knowledge,a and more cash, we'll never be able to replicate the big boys' success.

There ARE ways to make a little bit of income with no investment, and there are ways to make a LOT of money with a LOT of investment - but, like you, I would like to make a LOT of cash with little or no effort or knowledge. Well, guess what? It ain't gonna happen! (Not overnight, anyway). There's a lot of competition to make an online income, and those that put in, get results. But what to put in - money, time or both? We've all got limits on how much of each we can spare, so your first decision has to be "can I spare some time or would I rather spend sme cash to get the job done quicker?" A quick point here - all those "I made $$$$$$$ in one week with this profit" sales pages? Ask one simple question - "What was the PROFIT on this amount of sales?"

There are honest advisors out there in NetLand, but they're far outnumbered by hype merchants and scam artists. Funny thing - most sites claiming to expose scams are sailing pretty close to scamming themselves. There are good review sites, and pure "I've reviewed this BRILLIANT ebook, here's my affiliate link" sites. They are easily spotted once you've been around a bit. What you MUST remember is that making an income online is just the same as any bricks and mortar business - it requires planning, investment (time and money), hard work and patience. If you want to make a quick buck, go to betfair or an online casino - the odds of making a killing overnight are better!

With the above in mind, I can now honestly recommend a few products I have found around the place which have had a positive effect on my online activities. First is SmartDD, a secure Digital Delivery service which integrates with PayPal and handles any website sales promptly and efficiently. Frank Haywood really is one of the good guys online. Next we have MicroNicheFinder, a really cool standalone program which will tell you exactly how many people are searching for any given keyword phrase. This has thrown so many (profitable) niche markets at me that I have a backlog wi9ting to build minisites to take advantage!

(Fanfare......) But the real beauty which I really cannot recommend highly enough is the Profitlance course. This really has it all - ebooks, keyword research tools, guidance, a regular blog, step-by-step video tuition, pre-built affiliate sites, live support.... the lot. If you can't turn this much knowledge into an income online, then internet marketing is NOT for you! Just have a look at what's on offer, read the price, rub your eyes, read the price again... This has to be the biggest bargain out there, and it's a one-off payment for ongoing fresh content. Mike must be mental, but in a good way!
